The Holidays Are Coming

The Coke campaign always gets such a great reaction, it has become the signal of the Christmas build-up.

Coke would be mad to lose the classic look and feel of the ads, but how to expand it and keep it up to date?

The eagle eye will have spotted the London bus and the Gherkin in the background, whilst the style retains the feel of the iconic Haddon Sundblom artwork, but the campaign will also include digital elements, including Christmas cards to send to friends via mobiles, a Google maps application that allows users to decorate their houses with virtual Christmas lights, and a new “gift-giving” application on Facebook.

It seems Coke really does understand the seasonal spirit.
